Brand identity.

A logo, colours, typefaces and imagery that belong together, and guidelines to keep them that way. Designed at the studio in Bordeaux, for brands across France.

The identity of a filter coffee bar and roastery.

Our approach

A brand identity is not a logo stamped on everything. It is a small system: a mark, a few colours, typefaces, a way of making images, and simple rules that keep it all recognisable, from the shopfront to a social media post.

We start from your business and from what you want people to remember, then look for the idea that will decide everything else. A filter coffee roaster, a tableware ceramics studio, an artisan ice cream shop, a gravel cycling club: each got its own, and you can browse them below, guidelines and mock-ups included.

Because we also design websites and apps, the identity does not stop at print. It is built for the screen from day one, from large formats down to a tiny icon.

What is included
  • 01

    The logo

Designed for you, with versions for small sizes, from the app icon to the social media avatar, and its clear space.

  • 02

    The colours

A short palette with exact values, so the blue on the sign matches the blue on the website.

  • 03

    The typefaces

One for headings, one for text, and how they work together.

  • 04

    The imagery

A direction for photos or illustrations, so everything you publish looks like it comes from the same place.

  • 05

    The brand guidelines

Every rule gathered in clear plates, ready to hand to a printer, a photographer or a future supplier.

  • 06

    The applications

Business cards, stationery, labels, packaging, signage, posts: whatever your business needs, shown in context.

  • 07

The website, if you want it

The same hand designs the site, so the identity carries over without translation.

Our brand identities
How it works
  1. We talk

Thirty minutes to understand your business, your customers and what should set you apart. A call, not a questionnaire.

  2. We find the idea

A guiding idea that will decide the colours, the typefaces and the imagery. You see it with its first directions before we go further.

  3. We design

The logo, the palette, the typefaces, the imagery. This is when you make changes.

  4. We apply it

The materials you need, shown in context, and the guidelines that hold the rules.

  5. We hand it all over

The guidelines and the files, ready for whoever works for you next.

Questions we get asked
What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

The logo is one piece. The brand identity is the whole: logo, colours, typefaces, imagery and usage rules. It is what makes you recognisable even when the logo is not on screen.

What are brand guidelines?

The document that gathers those rules: logo versions, clear space, colours, typefaces, usage examples. It lets anyone work for you without damaging the brand.

How long does it take?

The timing is set in the quote, once we know how many materials need to be designed.

Can you design the website too?

Yes, and it is the simplest case: the identity and the site are designed by the same hands, at the same time.

Do you only work in Bordeaux?

The studio is in Bordeaux, clients are all over France, and part of the work happens remotely anyway. Distance changes neither the price nor the timing.
