Rebuilds
Website rebuilds.
Your site is dated, unreadable on a phone, or you cannot change anything on it. We rebuild it, and we keep what it already brings you.
A rebuild is not a new site with an old one underneath. It is a move, and a move goes wrong when nobody forwards the post.
What tanks traffic after a rebuild is almost never the design. It is addresses changing with nobody putting redirects in place: Google knew twenty pages, it finds none, and it drops them from the results. You end up with a better looking site that nobody sees.
So we handle a rebuild in the reverse of the usual order: we look first at what works today, and decide what changes afterwards. A page that brings you customers does not get deleted for being ugly, it gets rebuilt.
For us, rebuilding a site and creating one are the same work. So it is the same price.
What is included
A survey of what exists
Your pages, the ones that rank, the ones that bring calls. Before touching anything, we write down where you stand.
Redirects, one by one
Every old address leads to the right new page. Never all of them to the homepage, which amounts to redirecting nothing.
The wording that works, kept
A page that ranks often ranks thanks to sentences you find too long. We rewrite to say it better, not to say less.
A design made for you
The starting point is your trade, not a bought theme. And this time it is readable on a phone.
Checks after the switch
We verify that every old address leads somewhere, and we watch the positions in the following weeks.
What comes next, included
Domain, hosting, backups, and your changes uncounted. That is what stops the new site freezing like the old one.
How it works
We look at what you have
Your pages, your positions, what brings visitors. This step decides everything else, and it is the one failed rebuilds skip.
We draw the new version
With your real words and real photos, not filler. You correct it before we build.
We build and prepare the redirects
The map from old addresses to new ones is written before launch, not after.
We switch
The new site replaces the old one, redirects live the same day.
We watch
Two to six weeks of movement is normal while Google revisits everything. We check that it comes back.
Questions we get asked
- Will I lose my rankings?
- Not if the redirects are done. It is tedious, methodical work rather than technical work, and that is precisely why it gets skipped so often.
- How long does traffic move after a rebuild?
- Two to six weeks, even when everything is done right: Google has to revisit each page. What should worry you is a drop that has not recovered after two months.
- Can I keep my domain name?
- Yes, and it is recommended. Changing the design and changing the address are two simultaneous moves. If both are needed, we do them one after the other.
- My site is on Wix, WordPress, or I have no idea
- It makes no difference to you. We recover the content, survey the addresses, and redirect. The starting platform is not an obstacle.
- Is it more expensive than a new site?
- No. For us it is the same work, so it is the same price.
- What if my site ranks for nothing at all?
- Then there is nothing to lose, and the rebuild is simpler. We say so plainly rather than charging you for a precaution you do not need.
