Apps
Mobile app development.
iOS, Android, web. From scoping to store release, with one person throughout. The catalogue on this site was designed and shipped here, and you can try it before taking our word for anything.
An app is not a website with an icon. It is a product people install, open out of habit or delete within three days, and it has to pass Apple's review before it exists at all.
We do all three parts of the work, and that is what matters: designing the app, building it, and releasing it. There is no agency subcontracting the development, and no developer handing you a screen nobody designed.
The proof is public: every product in this site's catalogue was designed and shipped here, and most of them install from the App Store or Google Play. You can download them before trusting us with anything. That is more useful than a pitch.
What is included
Scoping
What the app has to do, for whom, and above all what it will not do in its first version. That last list is what saves budgets.
Screen design
Every screen is drawn before it is built, and you see them linked together as in the real app.
iOS and Android development
A single codebase where that makes sense, native where the product demands it. The choice is argued, not inherited.
Store release
Listing, screenshots, icon, copy, privacy policy, and getting through Apple's review. We have done it for every app in the catalogue and we know the rejection reasons.
The app's own website
A presentation page, support and legal documents, required by the stores and usually discovered at the last minute.
The versions after
An app lives through its updates. We stay available for what comes next rather than leaving you with a frozen product.
How it works
We scope
One or two calls to turn an idea into a boundary. We come out with a list of what version one does, and a list of what it does not.
We design
The screens, linked, testable with a thumb. This is when changing your mind costs almost nothing.
We build
In usable pieces, not one block delivered at the end. You see the app running along the way.
We release
Developer accounts, listings, screenshots, Apple and Google Play review. The review is not instant, and its timing belongs to Apple, not to us.
We keep going
Fixes, feedback from the first users, the next version.
Questions we get asked
- How long for a first version?
- The timeline is priced during scoping, along with everything else. The scope decides it, which is exactly why we start by narrowing it.
- iOS, Android, or both?
- Both, unless there is a reason not to. Shipping on one platform does not save half the budget, because the design and the scoping happen once either way.
- Can Apple reject my app?
- Yes, and it happens to everyone on the first submission. The reasons are known and avoidable: badly explained permissions, in-app purchases missing from the build, incomplete subscription terms. We deal with them before submitting.
- Does the developer account need to be in my name?
- Yes, preferably: your app belongs to you, it is published under your identity, and it stays yours. Apple and Google accounts are paid, and those costs are yours.
- Do you build web apps too?
- Yes. Some ideas have no business on a store: an address that opens in a browser is enough, costs less and updates without review. That gets decided during scoping.
- I only have an idea, is it too early to talk?
- No, it is the best moment. That is exactly what scoping is for, and sometimes we conclude that the app should not be built. That is a service too.
