Hair and beauty

Websites for salons and studios.

In hair and beauty, people choose with their eyes. The site has to show your work, state your prices and let people book, without making them hunt. A studio in Bordeaux, working across France.

A salon is chosen from photographs. Not from a description, not from a list of services: from cuts, colours, hands, light, the feel of a room. It is the one trade on this list where the online window does exactly the same job as the one on the street.

Yet most salons show their work on Instagram and take bookings on a scheduling platform. Two useful tools, and two tools that belong to somebody else. One can change how it shows things overnight, the other puts your salon in a list where you are compared on price and on the next free slot.

A site replaces neither. It gathers them under your own name: your photographs, your prices, your team, and the button that opens your diary. It is the address you hand out, the one that holds when the rest moves.

And since everything is decided on the image, the layout matters as much as the content. The catalogue on this site shows how far we go when we are given the room.

What is included

  • A gallery of your work

Cuts, colours, treatments, nails. Prepared to load fast on a phone, because a slow gallery does not get looked at.

  • Online booking

We integrate the platform you already use, or we set up a new one. The account is in your name and stays with you.

  • Your services and your prices

The full menu, readable, current. It is the most visited page on a salon site, and the one that prevents misunderstandings in the chair.

  • Your team

Who does what, and who to book with. In a salon people come back for a person as much as for an address.

  • Your Google reviews on display

The reviews you already have, brought onto the site, where they reassure at the right moment.

  • Domain name and hosting

Included in the subscription, along with backups and updates. No technical account to open or keep an eye on.

  • Your changes, uncounted

A menu that evolves, a new service, someone leaving the team, a closure: you write, we change it.

How it works

  1. We talk

Thirty minutes to understand your salon, your clients and what the site has to trigger. A call, not a questionnaire.

  2. We design

You see a mockup of the real site, with your photographs and your menu, before a single line of code. That is when corrections cost nothing.

  3. We build

The site is built, tested on a phone first, and wired to your booking diary.

  4. We ship

Domain, hosting, certificate, redirects if you already had something. There is nothing for you to do.

  5. We look after it

Your changes, the updates, the monthly report. The menu stays accurate instead of going stale.

Questions we get asked

I have Instagram and a booking platform, what is a site for?
Instagram shows your work to people already following you, the platform fills the gaps in the diary. Neither belongs to you, and on a list of salons you are compared on price and on the next free slot. The site gathers both under your own name.
Can I keep my booking platform?
Yes. We integrate it into the site and you change nothing, neither your habits nor your clients'. If you do not have one, we set one up, and the account is created in your name.
Can my Instagram photos be used?
Often yes, provided they exist at full quality somewhere other than inside the app. We look together at what is usable and what is better reshot.
Should prices be shown?
That is your call, but it is the most visited page on a salon site. Showing them prevents appointments booked on a misunderstanding, and a price can be changed whenever you want, which is included in the subscription.
How long before it goes live?
The timeline is given in the quote, once we know what the site has to hold. What makes it vary is almost never the build, it is when your words and your photos arrive.
Do you only work in Bordeaux?
The studio is in Bordeaux, the clients are all over France, and a good part of the work happens remotely anyway. Distance changes neither the price nor the timeline.
