Common questions
Is Verdict free? Yes, entirely. Every feature, duplicate detection included, is unlocked for everyone, with no ads, no subscription and no in-app purchase. There is nothing to buy or restore.
Is Verdict available on Android? Yes. Verdict is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android.
Where do my discarded photos go? They are NOT deleted right away. On iOS, discarded photos move to a "Verdict To Delete" album in your Photos library; on Android, they wait in a to delete list inside the app. From the Review screen you trigger one batch delete, and your phone asks for confirmation through its own system prompt.
Does Verdict upload anything? No. Verdict runs 100 % on your phone. On iOS, the only network activity is Apple's optional iCloud Photos download when a photo is not stored on the device. On Android, Verdict makes no network request.
How does duplicate detection work? Open the Duplicates card on the home screen. The analysis runs entirely on your device. On large libraries (more than 2,000 photos) it runs in batches of 2,000; tap "Analyse next batch" between sessions.
I deleted photos by mistake. - iPhone: open the Photos app, then Albums, then Recently Deleted. Photos stay recoverable for 30 days from the moment of deletion. - Android: open your gallery app (Google Photos, Samsung Gallery, etc.) and look for its Trash or Bin. Depending on the device, deleted items generally stay recoverable for about 30 days.
