Football Darts, soccer darts

Football Darts is a team game made for groups and parties. Players split into two teams and every bull scores a goal. It is simple enough for complete beginners, and the team format keeps everybody cheering, even between their own turns. Rules

Setup

  • Split the players into two teams, Team A and Team B.
  • Players from both teams take turns, three darts each.
  • The match lasts 10 rounds.

How to play

  • On your turn, throw all three darts at the bull.
  • Each dart that lands in the bull scores a goal for your team.
  • Team totals carry on across all players and rounds.

Scoring

  • Outer bull (25) and inner bull (50) both count as one goal.
  • Every other part of the board scores nothing.

Winning

The team with the most goals after 10 rounds wins.

Tips

  • Mix stronger and newer players across both teams to keep the match close.
  • Grip, stance and a steady release matter more than power when aiming at the bull.

Variants

Pub version: you first have to win the ball by hitting the bull, then score goals with doubles. Bead plays the simpler team version.
