Privacy Policy, Pulsar
Last updated: 10 July 2026
Pulsar is a haptic metronome for iPhone and Apple Watch, published by Bloomwise SAS. This policy explains what Pulsar does, and does not do, with your data.
The short version
Pulsar does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no usage analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. Everything you do in Pulsar stays on your device.
Data stored on your device
Your presets and recent settings (tempo, accent, subdivision, output channels) are saved locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. Deleting the app removes it.
Multi-device sync
Pulsar can synchronize the tempo between nearby devices (the silent conductor feature) using Apple's local device-to-device networking (MultipeerConnectivity) and, between your iPhone and Apple Watch, WatchConnectivity. This exchange happens directly between your own devices over the local network or Bluetooth. No data is sent to any server, and no personal information is shared. To connect, devices exchange only what is needed to keep the same beat (tempo, meter, subdivision, timing) and a temporary device name used to tell devices apart during a session.
Local network
Pulsar asks for permission to use the local network only to discover and connect nearby devices for tempo sync. It is not used for any other purpose.
No third parties
Pulsar contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Children
Pulsar does not collect any data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
