Privacy Policy

Pagelight is published by Bloomwise SAS, registered in France. This policy explains what data we process, for what purpose, and what your rights are.

Data we process

  • Your scans and photos: sent to our servers only for the time needed to produce the cleaned PDF or the transcription. They are not kept after processing.
  • Transcribed text: returned to your device only. Not stored on our servers.
  • Technical identifiers: an anonymous account identifier (linked to your Apple ID) is used to manage your credit balance.
  • Anonymised technical logs: kept for 30 days at most, for debugging and performance measurement.

What we do not do

  • We do not train any AI model on your content.
  • We never sell your data to third parties.
  • We do not use advertising trackers.

Subprocessors

To perform transcription, we temporarily send your images to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) depending on the chosen mode. These providers are contractually bound not to retain or train on your data through their enterprise APIs. A local processing mode with no cloud upload is in preparation.

Your rights

You can at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to contact@bloomwise.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
