Scram darts rules
Scram
Scram is a head to head game for two players, built around two opposite roles. The Stopper tries to shut down the board by closing numbers, while the Scorer races to rack up points on the numbers that are still open. After a set number of turns the roles are reversed, so both players get to attack and defend.

Rules
Setup
- One player starts as the Stopper, the other as the Scorer.
- All numbers from 1 to 20 and the bull are open at the start.
- Agree on how many turns each phase lasts.
How to play
- The Stopper throws first and closes every number they hit.
- The Scorer then throws and scores points on any number that is still open.
- Hits on closed numbers score nothing for the Scorer.
- When the phase ends, roles swap and all numbers are reopened.
Scoring
- The Scorer earns the normal value of each dart on an open number, including doubles and trebles.
- The bull can be closed by the Stopper or scored by the Scorer like any other target.
Winning
After both players have had their turn as Scorer, the player with the higher scoring total wins.
Tips
- As Stopper, close the high numbers first: 20, 19 and 18 are the Scorer's best sources of points.
- As Scorer, get your big trebles in early before the Stopper shuts them down.
FAQ

- Yes. As soon as the Stopper hits a number it is closed and worth nothing to the Scorer until the roles swap.

- The player who scored the most points during their turn as Scorer.
