Dice Poker brings poker hands to dice: five dice, two rerolls, best hand wins. Play it in the open or under a cup with a healthy dose of bluff.

Rules

How to play

Each player rolls 5 dice under their cup. You get 2 rerolls (can keep some dice). The goal is to form the best poker hand.

Hand ranking

Best to worst: Five of a kind. Four of a kind. Full house (3 + 2 matching). Large straight (1-2-3-4-5 or 2-3-4-5-6). Small straight (4 sequential). Three of a kind. Two pairs. One pair. High value.

Winning

Best hand wins the round. Can be played with stakes or best of rounds (first to 3 wins).

FAQ

How many rerolls do you get in Dice Poker?
Two rerolls after the first roll, keeping any dice you like.
Who wins a tie?
The hand made with higher dice: three 6s beat three 4s. If it's still tied, replay the round.
How is it different from Yahtzee?
In Dice Poker each round is won with a single hand. In Yahtzee you fill a 13-box sheet over the whole game.
